Who We Are

We’re Local

Emocean Eco Tours was founded by Dean Saunders. After spending most of his life in a corporate environment heading up technology teams Dean sold his business to a UK company to pursue a number of entrepreneurial pursuits.

A big lover of the Mornington Peninsula which he calls home, he wanted to ‘keep it local’ and encourage not just visitors to the region, but locals as well to view the beautiful surroundings from a completely different angle.

“Point Nepean offeres some of Australia’s most beautiful natural features and is packed with history, wildlife and incredible views of the bay and ocean all at once. Even if you’re local, you’ve likely not been up to Fort Nepean, or the heads in some time. It’s Victoria at its best, the views are breathtaking. The history is captivating, from stories of the gold rush to tales of sunken ships.

Choosing Super 73 bikes was an important part of the formula as well. We wanted to offer a prestige experience in which to take it all in and other ebikes just don't compare. We wanted to make sure we chose technology that was eco efficient, safe and reliable for people of all ages and abilities.

I love seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they mount these vehicles and head off into the natural surroundings.”

Dean and his team of guides cant wait to take you on this journey sharing the rich history of the man made structures and natural surroundings of this beautiful environment.
